Advantages of FFKM O-ring
 
FFKM O-rings have excellent wear resistance, acid resistance, resistance to most chemicals, heat resistance, electrical resistance, oil resistance, and resistance to ozone exposure. These O-rings also have weather and steam resistance.
 
The low gas release of FFKM O-ring makes it a good choice for vacuum sealing applications. FFKM O-ring is non flammable in air and has self extinguishing properties. They have very low permeability and explosive decompression ability.
 
They also have good flame retardancy and sealing properties, but compared to O-rings made of other materials, their cold resistance is poor. However, FFKM O-rings do not have strong dynamic, permanent, or tear resistance, and do not have good tensile strength.
